Starting with a scan of my own painting, I just had fun, adding photographs of clouds and leaves, drawing into them and trying new applications of Photoshop.

 In this image, seasonal change takes center stage as the winter sky is not dreary, but lit up with color and pattern through my juxtaposition of painting and photography.

This collage is created from my observations of autumn’s high contrast of yellow and red leaves against decaying plants that expose a more visible skeleton.

 Nature is portrayed through cloud repetitions, blending into spring flower blossom patterns, that  finally twist and weave toward the desolate shapes and spaces between wintering tree branches.

 This digital collage series contrasts seasonal changes from the bare trees of winter to the blossoms of spring, as a metaphor for life’s struggles and surprises; joys and set-backs. In addition to utilizing my scanned painting, I varied the opacity and color of the photography in order to integrate the image.
