Climate Change Awareness and Art

My art has recently explored the beauty of shells and seashores, therefore I have naturally extended my concern to climate change and the oceans themselves. This new series of abstract ocean art continues to employ digital collage of my acrylic painting and photography.

Bright Beaches

I have photographed imagined beaches that are composed of starfish, sea urchins, sand dollars and shells. These photos are blended with digitally manipulated color of my acrylic painting. The pleasing color, movement and the perfect placement of the shells evoke a pleasurable walk along the seashore, the way one would hope such a walk, 
indeed life could be.
